4. Step 4: Allow the Twitch Center Follow Date Tool access to your account. Without this permission it can’t access the information it needs to ascertain your follow date for the channel.

5. Step 5: Simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Authorize’ button.

6. Step 6: Once you’ve given the tool authorization to access your account records, it will bring you back to the precious screen. However, in this case, it will also show the follow date at the bottom of the screen.

Previously, it may have been possible to check the follow dates for other accounts as well. However, due to privacy concerns, this feature has been turned off. If you try to check the following date on Twitch for an account that you have no control over, you’ll see the following message:

Alternative Method of Checking a Twitch Following Date
While it may not be available with every channel you follow, some accounts have a Twitch followage checker feature that runs through Streamlabs and allows you to check your follow date with a chat command.
* Step 1: Open your browser and navigate to www.twitch.tv.
